Our Guides

With Tokyo alone boasting over 935,000 restaurants, it’s clear why tourists often turn to social media or English written online recommendations for answers, often leading them to tourist establishments or intentionally westernised restaurants, which don’t showcase authentic Japanese culture and cuisine, or what the locals eat.

Our guides contain favourites you know & love, as well as regional specialties and recommendations which showcase the identity, rich history and tailor food for local climate. Get prepared for a uniquer food experience like no other featuring sushi, ramen, Tonkatsu and so on. as well as local favourites and regional specialties!

We offer four guides in Tokyo, Osaka & Kyoto, with each containing restaurants from budget friendly options, to best value omakase picks to the best of gourmet that Tokyo has to offer.
